About Praline’s Backyard Foundation
The Bark & Bond Festival & 3K benefits The Praline’s Backyard Foundation. This foundation is dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and their pets.
Dedicated to the belief that no survivor should have to choose between their safety and their pet’s well-being, Praline’s Backyard offers free pet boarding for victims of domestic violence. Because over 65% of domestic violence survivors delay leaving abusive situations due to a lack of safe options for their pets, the foundation provides temporary care for the pets of survivors at no cost through a nationwide network of boarding facilities and foster homes.
Praline’s Backyard Foundation relies on the support of donations, volunteers, boarding facilities, and foster homes to achieve its mission. Their work builds a crucial bridge to safety for both families and their animal companions.
Bark & Bond’s 3K
The Bark & Bond Festival & 3K is a fundraising event organized by Praline’s Backyard Foundation to further their cause. The event offers various ways to participate, including walking or running in a 3K (in-person or virtually), with proceeds going towards keeping pets and families together.
If you register for the in-person or virtual 3K, you’ll receive exclusive race swag, including a T-shirt, a dog bandana, and treats. This is a fantastic way to commemorate the day and show your support.
Bark & Bond at Westside Park

Even if you don’t have a pet, the Bark & Bond Festival & 3K is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community, enjoy a lively outdoor event, and contribute to a worthy cause.
