family with dog in atlanta in the spring

Atlanta has evolved into a remarkably pet-friendly city over the years, embracing furry companions as integral members of the community. From shopping malls that welcome four-legged visitors to dedicated pet-friendly events, Metro Atlanta has made significant strides in accommodating pets and their humans, at least since we came on the scene in 1998. In addition to our dog-friendly amenities, such as walking trails, dog parks, and pet-friendly housing options, Atlanta brings lots of springtime fun to pet-friendly families. Today, I’m sharing spring 2025 dog festivals in Atlanta that I hope you and your dog-loving families will enjoy!

Buckhead Pet Pals Pet Sitting in Atlanta

Pet sitters in the Atlanta Metro Area

Before heading out on the town with your dogs, consider if your dog will enjoy the above-listed events. Dogs that attend festivals and races should be comfortable with crowds, loud noises, and other dogs. If your dog is timid, reactive, or anxious, it’s best to leave him or her at home. In those cases, our team is happy to come by and exercise and engage with your dog while you enjoy the festivities. Count on us to be there for your pups when you can’t be!
